Question: I have insomnia, and it sucks!!!!?

I sleep from 9am- 5pm everyday. I can not go to sleep at night for the life of me. I've taken Melatonin but apparently it gives me hallucinations and anxiety. I'm 13 yr old girl if that makes a difference with a long line of schizophrenia, OCD, anxiety attacks, bipolar disorder, clinical depression, drug addictions and sleep disorders in my family. Wow... Didn't seem that bad untill I wrote it out.

How do you sleep until 5 if you're 13? Don't you have school? I got that insomnia as well. The only thing that really worked for me, was as hard as it is, getting up at 7 a.m. and staying awake for the whole day. Then I'd get worn out by 10 and go to bed. If you have trouble waking up at 7, stay up for 24 hours then go to bed at 9. Also it's not really insomnia if you sleep. I would call what we have... a broken sleeping pattern. Try and fix it. Mine gets out of hand a lot and I need to really try to go to bed on time and wake up EARLY.

A girl your age should be getting at least 85 grams of protein a day. The plant protein way is better and you can't gain weight off of plants very easily do when you eat a good starch like pototos with a plate of grilled chicken on veggies ... The starches will help u feel full for a longer time. This is important for body and mind because our bodies DNA is replicated about 1biillion times a day. Without phosphorus and water molecules our bodie breaks down and doesn't get the regeneration it needs to stay energized through our life. Stretch out your body with yoga and Thai chi if you really want to add the body balancing routine . No one has ever died from taking vitamins so it's a great starter if all that's in your house is in a package I recommend a shopping trip for fresh organic food ohhg and berries in oatmeal for breakfast will fill u and give u energy you have to be the change you want to see- ghandi
