Try taking some Tylenol or Ibuprofen PM, and see if that helps with the migraines. If it does, it should also put you to sleep. If you are younger than 25, it may be the reason you can't sleep until 2 or 2:30 am. Studies have shown younger people can have a different sleep schedule than people in their 30's or 40's, and part of this is falling asleep later at night. Try developing a routine before bed. By this, I mean cut yourself off from caffeine and food 2 hours prior to going to bed. Exercise or do the same activity before bed every day for a while and don't go to bed at different times. If you drink a lot of caffeine it could explain the consistent headaches; a caffeine withdrawal may include bad headaches, a caffeine addiction is a very real addiction and does come with withdrawal symptoms. If you drink a lot of soda or carbonation of any kind, it could lead to dehydration, another sign of the headaches. |
