Question: I have insomnia, and it effects school.?

So I have insomnia it started awhile back but now it happens frequently and I went the doctor about it, but they messed up my medicine and i wasn't able to get it last night and my insomnia happend last night. Now my dad won't let me stay home from school, any suggestions that will make him understand?

U shouldn't skip school for just an insomnia. quit thinking too much at night, just close ur eyes and stare to the blank black of ur eyes. u will fall asleep in 10 minutes or less.
